• educate students in energy topics,
• solve energy-related problems of society,
• deliver solutions for energy-related issues,
• increase the visibility of energy issues, and
• form collaborative relationships with university scientists, engineers, outside industrialists, and policy makers to prioritize, address and resolve key energy-related issues .
