Curt Elmore ’s  primary interest is in the application of wind and solar systems to power environmental cleanup systems with a focus on the cost reduction and environmental benefits of such applications.  Specific interests include the use of non site-specific data sources to predict wind turbine energy production, the development of low energy active remediation systems, the application of renewable energy to provide a sustainable and safe drinking water supply in developing areas, the impact of wind turbine-generated intermittency on groundwater capture zones, and the application of hybrid renewable energy systems to provide emergency drinking water.
